Attorney Roderick S. Oreste is the principal attorney of Oreste Law. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Before founding his law firm, Rod spent over 12 years working for New England's beloved baseball team, the Boston Red Sox. During his tenure there, he held several management positions in the Public Affairs department and acted as the Red Sox alumni liaison. He dealt with all issues concerning former Red Sox players and coaches and facilitated their appearances at corporate and charitable events. In 2007 Rod co-authored the best-selling book, Red Sox Legends, which includes a collection of Red Sox photographs assembled by the Boston Public Library accompanied by short stories and player interviews about Red Sox history. Rod attended Suffolk University Law School while also working full-time for the Red Sox.

While in law school, Rod joined Suffolk Law's Landlord/Tenant clinic which gave him the opportunity to represent tenants for eviction cases in Chelsea District Court. It was this experience, coupled with consulting work for a prominent Cambridge law firm that convinced Rod that he wanted to help people resolve their legal issues.

Currently, Rod is serving as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Mansfield Housing Corporation, a non-profit housing corporation tasked with investigating and implementing alternatives for affordable housing in the Town of Mansfield. He is also a member of the Mansfield Planning Board. Rod volunteers for Metro West Legal Services which provides legal services for poor, elderly, disabled and disenfranchised people. Rod is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, American Bar Association and the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce.

Since opening Oreste Law, Rod has taken on a wide range of litigation cases involving real estate, contracts, family law, trademark law, construction law, and personal injury law. Rod has also drafted and reviewed numerous contracts, wills, trusts and other legal documents for his clients.
